A Week In Pants: Inspiration with Lee

Nothing could ever beat a whole Jeans outfit, especially when the Jeans come from Lee. I think this is the utterly perfect outfit for summer either way you're doing some shopping, errands or just wandering in your happy getaway place.

Since it's Pants week (and that it was raining here yesterday - indeed, I couldn't shot anything), I was respecting the theme by doing a little lust list. What's better than hight heels from Stuart to make this Jeans outfit stylish, glamour and feminine? Heels and a perfectly shaped hat from Asos.

A Week in Pants: Slouchy Black Pants

Brandy Melville Tee and Pants, Zara Shoes, Forever21 Hat

As I'm leaving for another adventure abroad in a few days, I knew I needed a slouchy pants, because actually, there's nothing best in the hot weaver to wear light pants as those slouchy pants. I wore this outfit yesterday afternoon, and the whole thing is from Brandy Melville. I have an amount of love for this brand but, what I could hold up against this brand is that they're only proposing their items in a one-size concept. But, their clothes are amazing, they just have this crazy Californian stylish way every girl want to wear - you can't go wrong.

This striped tee is exactly what I was looking for since months now. It's a crop and it goes perfectly with this slouchy pants. It's more of a casual, resort wear style than anything else.
For the first time, we went on the rooftop of the Cité de la Mode et du Design, and the view from this rooftop was absolutely amazing. Do you like the idea of doing a week theme about pants?

Bare and Highlight

Karl Marc John Jeans Skirt, Zara Pouch

Last week I realized it’s going to be a hot summer. Of course I am happy like a duck to see the sunshine, and I can’t wait to finally lie down and enjoy some vitamin D in my body, but as for makeup, this is a tricky question to solve. I decided there was no way I could wear my habitual amount of make up without melting down, because as I went to the Farmer’s Market, I felt I needed a change.
I’m just living with a few thing: a light foundation (which I will give up as we’re really getting close to August), a sandy highlighter, a highlighting concealer, some bronzing powder, and a really good eyebrow kit (I mean, without eyebrow kit, we wouldn’t be as cool as Cara).

The most important thing for me in summer are blushes. I got this coral shade from the new YSL Baby Doll Kiss & Blush Lips & Cheeks in the color “Rouge Effrontée” and I can’t get enough of it. The second one is highlighter: the perfect one for my carnation in this sandy beach one from Nars: Hot Sand. Isn’t that name pretty? It gives you the prettiest glow ever, and the best trick I got is to blend some of this with your current foundation, and suddenly, your skin is glowing like you just got back from a spa trip.
One’s vanity should always carry a good eyelash curler, because I think it’s the basic of a vanity when it comes to makeup – makes such a difference.

But, as I adore talking about make up, I’m love going out face bare of any make up in holiday’s getaway. I guess, sometimes it’s hard to go out without wearing anything, and when I mean anything, it doesn’t mean not wearing at least some mascara, because I don’t think I could, as I love the effect on my eyes. I think the best decision for a woman in her life is to, at least once, going out without wearing any make up, just to embrace the beauty of her figure – doesn’t it make you feel more confident?
I understand perfectly the dilemma of wearing or not wearing makeup at the beach, or in holidays when you’re just wandering around your getaway place, but, there are some days I really want to enjoy the sun on my bare face. Is it only me, or is it something you also feel in summer?

What are you thoughts about this? Do you wear always makeup in any occasion? I’d love to hear your thoughts about this!

Green Parade

She Inside Jumpsuit, Zara Boots

Summer Heat means a lot of things. I won’t blabbers about beach essentials, or the heat wave in Paris, which sounds incredibly not fun at all. Summer heat also means prints, tropical prints. I’m a minimalistic stylish fervent supporter, and yours truly can literally live with a simple basic wardrobe, but once in a while, I want to wear something bright.
And, there’s nothing I love more than Jumpsuit. Is there anything more comfortable and stylish? I do not think so. I really think I have more Jumpsuit than dresses, which mean everything. This one is from SheInside, and it was “love at first sight”. I am so weak for those kind of pieces. I just need to find the perfect black jumpsuit (let’s face it, I can’t afford the Zimmerman; tho it’s a dream) and start a Parade.

Furthermore, taking those pics was incredibly challenging: this bridge was right on the joggers track, and well, I didn’t know so much joggers were running around this time of the day – sunset is definitely a moment to jog. I should go for it. Okay, not today, but tomorrow.

Marie-Sixtine

Top: Marie-Sixtine, Jeans: Lee (here), Shoes: Zara, Panama: Primark, Necklace: H&M, Bag: Zara

A particularity in Paris is that all shops and boutiques are closed on Sunday. So, as we wander with my friend in the tenth arrondissement, we run into some shops like The Kooples and Marie-Sixtine or Bensimon, which were opened. I was surprised but, came in, and discover a pretty amazing showroom. Marie-Sixtine is a brand I never though I will ever have something from their collection in hands, but as it’s the sales here, I was a little bit surprised about the prices. They were kind of affordable and the summer collection was pretty much everything I love about Fashion: simple, quite casual, and basics. So, yeah, as it is the summer collection, their collection is all about bright colors, but intentionally I went for camel, beige and black pieces. The shirt I got from this collection was oversized and felt to nice, just the moment I put it on.
It’s made from linen, and the pretty bronze lamé color caught my eyes just by looking on the hangers.

I pair it with my favorite new Jeans from Lee, but I will talk about the perfect jeans later. I always dress up casual, and obviously, since I'm working, there's nothing more casual than Jeans paired with a top. But, why wouldn't I pair these Jeans with a beautiful lamé blouse?

We shot these pics at the Place Vendôme, and I can really say I was a little bit overwhelmed with the powerful, brightness, the chic and luxury of the place. It might be because I rarely hang around this particular hood, but it's quite one of my favorite, and I really think, as the sun sets, I could have stayed a little bit longer - just to enjoy the quietness and the quintessence of the majestic venue the Place Vendôme is.

Furthermore, Marie-Sixtine is this brand, which is made for this otherworldly girl who leaves a lingering scent of patchouli in her wake, is Parisian by adoption. You should definitely check out the summer campaign here
